No relation to the 1947 Bob Hope film of the same name, Where There's Life... was a British medical-discussion program. Hosting the series were doctors Miriam Stoppard and Rob Buckman, who frequently presided over audience debates concerning the state of health insurance, medical care, socialized medicine, and other issues. Also included were taped vignettes from actual surgical operations, replete with graphic and sometimes nausea-inducing close-ups. Where There's Life... aired from 1981 to 1986.
