Synopsis by Janiss Garza

John Bowers plays David Endicott, a college student and songwriter. Because of the machinations of his roommate, John Hall (John Hines), he gets tangled up with Dorothy Deal (Muriel Ostriche), an actress with a traveling musical show. Dorothy eventually goes her own way and marries an older man, Arthur Haynes (Joe Smiley). David eventually meets and falls in love with Helen (Barbara Castleton), Haynes' daughter. They form a musical act and marry. Then Dorothy approaches David, intending to blackmail him. Helen -- who has never met Dorothy -- overhears their conversation and believes her husband is at fault. But when she finally encounters Dorothy, she realizes the woman is to blame. Because of their stronger drawing power, Johnny Hines and Barbara Castleton were billed as the stars of this film, but Bowers and Ostriche were the ones with the most time on screen. Regardless, it was not a very good film, and critics of the day complained about its mawkishness.
