Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
Thirty-something school teacher Ling (Yeo Yann Yann) and her dedicated husband (Christopher Lee) struggle to start their family. Upon leaving the fertility clinic one morning, Ling encounters her student Wei Lun (Koh Jia Ler) on crutches after his wushu practice goes awry. The conscientious Ling consoles her student, learning that Wei Lun's parents live abroad and leave him to care for himself. Finding solace in one another amidst their personal struggles, teacher and student soon develop an illicit bond that could threaten to upend both of their lives. Written and directed by Anthony Chen.
