Synopsis by Janiss Garza

In this heavy-handed drama, copper magnate Norton (Nat Goodwin) ruins his two rivals, brokers Reid and Ranson. Ranson swears revenge, and with the help of Yvette (Zola Telmzart) he gets it...at least for a while. Yvette chases after Norton and entices him to spend a night at her home. Mrs. Norton (Mabel Wright), who suffers from delicate health, catches him there and it kills her. Norton's daughter Lois (Mary Norton) comes home from school to find that her father has married Yvette. The girl and the vamp don't get along, so Lois moves out, while Yvette gains control over Norton's finances and ruins him. Then she tries to destroy Lois's life by sending "the Rat" (J. Cooper Willis) after her, but she is saved by her father. This reign of terror ends when during an argument, Yvette murders Ranson.
