Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

The quest for the Bingham Cup serves as the focus for this feature length documentary follow two of the world's best gay rugby teams as they face off in the largest amateur rugby competition in all of sports. The San Francisco Fog are the reigning champions, but do they have what it takes to dominate the energetic young upstarts of the Sydney Convicts? The drama of the individual is contrasted against the importance of teamwork as each of the players reveals themselves to be decidedly different from their teammates, defying widely held preconceptions about athletes as they work together towards a common goal. Each player has a unique reason for getting out on the field, yet the challenges they face as gay athletes are offset by a powerful bond of brotherhood amongst the players. The film comes to a conclusion as the San Francisco Fog and the Sydney Convicts prepare to do battle at the 2006 Bingham Cup in New York City.
