A diehard Boston Red Sox fan takes her love of the game to unusual extremes in this mockumentary that weaves together fact and fiction to explore a summer on the diamond through the eyes of a season ticket holder. Sure Monika loves her husband, Ges, but when the opening pitch is thrown and the batter swings, her role as a Red Sox fan quickly overshadows her role as a devoted wife. As the season heats up and the team hits its stride, the cameras shift their focus from Monika's love affair with the Red Sox to the friendly rivalry between best friends Rob and Alex, whose clashing fan loyalties have brought them closer while simultaneously serving to fuel a series of rousing debates.
