A broad variety of people with different attitudes about religion, culture and class are brought together by a championship football game in this drama from Egyptian filmmaker Kamla Abou Zekry. Sherif (Khaled Abol Naga) is the host of a popular television chat show, and while he's the picture of cool and confidence on screen, in real life he's wracked with insecurities about himself. Sherif is dating Niveen (Ilham Shaheen) a wealthy woman several years his senior who has left her husband and is pleased to discover she's carrying Sherif's baby. Nina (Zeina) is a pop star on the rise booked to appear on Sherif's program who is all too aware that her success stems from her looks and not her voice. Nina is dating her manager Selim (Hussein El-Imam) after choosing to put her career ahead of her personal happiness. Adel (Ahmed El Fishawy) is a hair stylist who was the boyfriend Nina left behind on the road to stardom, while Riham (Nelly Karim), her sister, is grateful for the financial support she's given her family but disapproves of the moral and ethical compromises behind her success. Hoda (Entessar) is Adel's mother and a fellow beautician who has come to put a high priority on financial success. And Ragab (Lotfi Labib) is a parking lot manager with a fondness for drugs whose grandson Ali (Kamel Ashraf) has become a lawyer, albeit one with a weak code of ethics. Wahed-Sefr (aka One-Zero) was an official selection at the 2009 Venice International Film Festival.
