Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
In this intellectual film meant for a certain cultural elite, Iranian director Dariush Mehrjui draws parallels between the French poet Arthur Rimbaud and his travels (and trade) in North Africa in an effort to "find himself," and the travels and work of the exiled Mehrjui in France, making an identical effort in his own way.
