Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This picture was a poor attempt to create a mystical aura around the timeworn tale of an innocent country girl coming to bad old New York. The girl, Mary Vance (Diana Allen), leaves behind a brother, John (Corliss Giles), and a fiance, Tom Adler (Gilbert Rooney). She becomes entangled with a woman who procures young women for wild parties. Back home, John is visited by the ghost of his dead mother while he is sleeping and she tells him to go find his sister. So he heads for New York and believes that Mary has been betrayed by one of the partygivers, Justin Lord (Henry Sedley). As revenge, he kidnaps Lord's daughter Marion (Gladys Coburn), figuring that what was good enough for his sister was good enough for Marion. But he can't go through with it, and it turns out Mary wasn't ruined by Lord after all. Lord reforms, Mary returns to Tom and John ends up with Marion. This standard 5-reel feature had little to recommend it.
