Jan Van Eyck is considered by many in the art world to be the pioneer of the oil painting technique. A successful painter in his own right, Harold van de Perre discusses the famous piece by Jan and his brother Hubert, Adoration of the Lamb. The second part of the program features more of Jan's work, including: Madonna with Chancellor Rolin, Madonna with Canon Van der Paele, and The Marriage of Arnolfini.
