Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

In this release produced to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of noted musician Virgil Fox's groundbreaking 1964 recording on the Wanamaker Organ, Fox offers a command performance captured live at the Grand Court of the John Wanamaker Store in Philadelphia as Marshall Yaeger's Kaleidoplex Digital Light Organ creates a series of colorful digital collages that offer a visual reflection of the grandiose composition. An additional performance by Fox aired only once on WCBS Television in 1970 is also included, and offers a variety of memorable songs including Harry Rowe Shelley's "Fanfare", Alexandre Guilmant's "Marche Religieuse", and Charles Ives' "Variations on 'America'".
