Created to show the personal side of war, the Vietnam Home Movies series follows real soldiers through the rigors of battle. Vietnam Home Movies: Specialist 4 put the camera in the hands of Specialist 4 Jeffrey Overton while he fulfilled a tour in the Mekong Delta. He accompanied Rifle Company "C" through the harsh jungle territory. The film used is Overton's own 8 mm and the narration is entirely his as well. The resulting profile is one of a dedicated rifleman thrust into a new world of danger and bloodshed.
