The Vietnam Home Movies series brings the War home by giving soldiers a chance to tell their stories. Vietnam Home Movies: Helicopter Gunship Assaults puts the camera in the hands of two men who flew over the dense country of South Vietnam. Major Alfred Demailo takes his 8 mm camera into the company of the Smiling Tigers. In addition, James "Bob" Powell provides a personal account of his time with the Gunslingers. The real-life footage and narration give a glimpse into the action high above the ground.
