In this travel film, the viewer is transported to Austria, where many musicians have lived, including Mozart, Beethoven, Mahler, Strauss, Schubert, Haydn, Brahms, and Bruckner. Mozart was born in Salzburg, which also has castles and the Salzburg Cathedral. Video Visits: Austria -- The Land of Music moves on to Vienna, where the Ringstrasse attractions include fine restaurants and shops. The Vienna Boys Choir is heard in concert. This particular program would be of great interest to music educators and their students, in addition to travelers.
