Three disparate teens forge an unlikely friendship after meeting in a shelter, and coming together for a common cause. In the wake of seeing his mother violently assaulted, devastated Thomas is sent to stay in a shelter for young people. But when the authorities refuse to tell Thomas where his brother has gone, the devoted sibling vows to find him at any cost. Meanwhile, hapless Marianne and eccentric Terje come along for the ride, and find that sometimes friendships can blossom under the least likely circumstances.
