Synopsis by Erin Demers
After the death of her beloved dog, a widow (Blythe Danner) grows dissatisfied with her structured routine and decides to make some life changes. She soon forges an unlikely friendship with her pool man (Martin Starr) and begins a romance with an intriguing stranger (Sam Elliott). Meanwhile, she is supported on her journey of self-discovery by an intimate group of longtime friends (Rhea Perlman, June Squibb, and Mary Kay Place), as well as her daughter (Malin Akerman), with whom she desires a closer relationship.
