Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Sylvia is a professor's daughter, and her teachers and classmates trust her more than is entirely wise. When she is in danger of receiving a low grade in mathematics class due to her numerous absences, she makes a change in the class attendance rolls which makes it look as though two other fellows (who have missed other classes often enough) are the missing individuals. The consequences of her simple adjustment cause her much more pain than she anticipated.
