Once a week, Sucheba's wife comes to town to deliver food to him; Sucheba lives with his mistress. One day, for reasons out of her control, she is late making the delivery. When husband and wife see each other again, he angrily refuses the food. At this point in the film, the wife's sad musings about their relationship arise as images. He comes back to her while she is musing and takes the food, promising to talk to her next week at the usual time.
