Many families have skeletons in their closets, but in the case of Ushio's, it's more of a big, hairy monster! His father always told him the story of his ancestor slaying a great creature with the legendary Beast Spear, but Ushio doesn't believe it until he finds the beast living captive in his own basement. He is happy to leave it there, but its monster vibes are attracting other nasties to the town, and soon it will be overrun with evil creatures if Ushio doesn't do something. He takes a chance and sicks his own monster on the invading ones, hoping that the Beast Spear, still in the family's possession, will keep Toro the monster from turning on his captors. Ushio just has to hope that beast-slaying runs in the family.
