This British horror anthology series specialized in contemporary tales of terror, set in modern-day London. Quite a few veterans of the legendary Hammer Films scarefests of the 1950s and 1960s showed up as guest stars. Created by Tom de Ville and Steve Matthews, Urban Gothic was originally shown in 13 half-hour segments by Britain's Channel 5 from May 17 to August 23, 2000. A second season of nine episodes aired from October 22 to December 17, 2001.
