Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Coventry Petmore (George LeGuere) is a fanatic who goes around preaching his odd ideas about marriage and divorce. He goes to one home, where he meets Judge Mitchell (James Lackaye), his son James, who is a minister (Frederick Sittenham), and the minister's wife, Beatrice (Marguerite Snow). The minister is as quirky as Petmore, and he believes that relations between husband and wife should be formal. Beatrice is unhappy with his cool attitude, so she falls for the chauffeur (Frederick Sittenham). They run off, with the approval of Petmore, but their car breaks down, and they return home. There Petmore's ideas are trashed, and James learns how to be a real husband. This comedy was based on the play by Tom Barry.
