Ellinor (Valkyrien) is saved from the sea by Old Peter, a lighthouse keeper (Tom Burrough). He raises her, and John Hudson (John Webb Dillon) has her educated with his children. He decides to marry her so she can be a mother to the three kiddies. But the children, especially the eldest, Ann (Violet de Biccari), resent the intrusion on their dead mother's territory. They make life so miserable for Ellinor that she decides to leave. Hudson begs her to stay, and Ann, overhearing her father's pleas, decides to accept her stepmother. The best thing in this picture was Walter Law as Mason, a rough sailor who unfortunately has very little to do in the script.
