This film is one of a three-part series on the diverse wildlife of Africa by award-winning filmmaker Will Taylor. This episode was filmed in the northern part of Botswana, an area that contains a huge number of game animals. There are two rivers there on which all species depend for survival. These are the Chobe and the Okavango. From his vantage point along the riparian shores, Taylor catches on camera some spectacular shots of the animals who gather there. These include lions as they swim, play, and hunt; buffalo and elephants grazing; and a mother hippopotamus defending her baby against the attack of a bull hippo.
