Unseen Enemies (1926)

Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
This inexpensive Al Hoxie Western from poverty row company Anchor came complete with an advertizing campaign that offered the rather unbelievable but amusing statement: "A better Western was never filmed." Hoxie was the lesser-known half-brother of Universal star Jack Hoxie and Unseen Enemies, which also featured stunt-riders Ione Reed and Cliff Lyons, was the second of eight Hoxie Westerns produced by Morris R. Schlank. The very busy Hoxie appeared in an incredible 12 Westerns in 1926 alone.
