Film historian and Class of Nuke 'Em High director Richard Haines is responsible for the suspense thriller Unsavory Characters, shot in both black-and-white and color. A mystery writer needs to come up with an ending to his novel in order to get paid. He gets involved with a femme fatale who is married to a nightclub owner. The affair quickly leads to murder and the writer uses the adventure to fuel his manuscript. Starring Eric A. Leffler, Jacqueline Bowman, and Anthony Peraticos.
