Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Casson Ferguson has a bigger role than star Edith Roberts in this crime drama. After serving a jail term for theft, Donald Grant (Ferguson) is sent to a small town by his two compatriots, Lefty Mayes William Quinn) and Slim Curry (Joe Neary). But while he is recuperating he meets Helen Wilburton (Roberts) and falls in love. He marries the girl and decides to go straight. But one day he loses his job, and to help out, Helen finds work as a stenographer. To land the position she has to claim she is single, and every man that comes into the office falls for her. This includes the prosecuting attorney that helped put Helen's husband behind bars. Grant's former associates attempt a heist that results in the death of one of them and the capture of the other, and Helen finally discovers her husband's true identity. By then, however, it doesn't matter and she allows him to leave his past behind him.
