Synopsis by Daniel Gelb
Two stories play out on different sides of the world, but both speak to the political, religious, and sexual conflicts of a culture. In India, a young lesbian woman kidnaps her lover when she cannot freely express her love. In New York City, a radicalized man targets a peaceful Muslim scholar as an enemy of his religion. Banned in India, director Raj Amit Kumar's explosive drama is an unflinching look into the troubles facing a modern society.
