Cats have been entertaining and mesmerizing people with their beauty since their domestication in ancient Egypt. This program traces the history of the domesticated cat from ancient times to the present. The show chronicles the cat's many faces, from pampered pet to hunters. Archival photographs show how cats were worth their weight in gold as mouse catchers in the American West. Cat authority Rober Tabor gives the viewer his perspective on cat behavior, as well as pointers on proper health care for our feline friends.
