Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Co-directors and screenwriters Candela Figueira and Maitena Muruzabal explore the complex relationships between four factory workers all at different stages in their lives, yet all dedicated to the common goal of ensuring that orders for are filled in time to accommodate the upcoming winter season. As the snowy season begins to close in, the orders start to pile up in the snow chain division at a small but successful company. Now, in order to simply keep up, supervisor Javier and his soft-spoken assistant Jairo find themselves forced to hire a pair of temporary employees. At first, newly hired temps Karmentxu and Angela go about the business of packing chains silently; as each frigid days begins to merge into the next, however, spirited Angela quickly begins playing by her own set of rules. Eventually, the ice begins to thaw amongst the group and work becomes fun. Their growing camaraderie gradually cemented through shared experience, this disparate but agreeable group soon begins exploring larger, more introspective issues as both the seasons, and their expectations about what to expect from life and relationships, begin to shift.
