The British game show Under Pressure was staged on a huge, studio-bound obstacle course. The contestants vied for a 5,000-pound grand prize by participating in a series of grueling stunts and sports challenge. Everything from bike-riding to a miniature form of soccer were thrown into the stew. Based on the Japanese TV game show Muscle Ranking, Under Pressure aired over Britain's always cutting-edge Channel 5 beginning in 2001.
