Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Italian actor Maciste was known as "the modern Hercules," and his action-packed pictures generally involved him using superhuman shows of strength to make great escapes and rescues, tossing villains around like rag dolls and hurling telephone poles like javelins. The story to this one takes place in a mythical kingdom called Livonia. Rulership belongs to a beautiful princess, but the evil prime minister is determined to keep her from being crowned queen so that he can take over the country. His efforts are foiled over and over by Maciste and his pal, a newspaper reporter. However, the pair are captured and Maciste is sentenced to be shot at six in the morning. The newspaperman manages to turn the clock's hand's back with his feet, and this gives the princess just enough time to save them. She hands the kingdom over to her uncle so that she can marry the newspaper man, while Maciste weds her friend, the countess.
