Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

Carried on the comic abilities of its star Manolo Gonzalez in his first screen appearance, this otherwise uninspired comedy by director José Bohr is about a waiter (Gonzalez) in a posh restaurant in Santiago de Chile, the Club de la Union. The waiter both entertains and serves the clientele and one lucky day, one of his customers hands him a lottery ticket that proves to be a winner. He goes wild and buys up everything in sight, including a ticket to go to Spain and just travel. Once he returns, the waiter discovers that romance is another part of the good fortune coming his way.
