Zuffa Entertainment's UFC, or Ultimate Fighting Championship, embodies the premier MMA (mixed martial arts) organization in the United States. As in PRIDE, its Japanese equivalent, UFC draws from a colorful and varied array of martial arts traditions including Muay Thai, boxing, karate, and Brazilian ju-jitsu, combining those styles into an MMA contest of speed, strength, and agility.
