Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
In one of his many silent Westerns, future Academy Award-winning stunt-coordinator Yakima Canutt played Jerry O'Connell, a heroic lawman who rescues a girl, Midge Blair (Ruth Stonehouse), from a runaway stage. Returning to town, Jerry is assigned to safeguard a valuable shipment of platinum. While on the phone with Midge, now the town's telephone operator, Jerry is knocked unconscious by three crooks (Art Walker, Clifford Davidson, and Jack Woods). Unaware that Midge is listening in on the open telephone line, the thieves discuss their plans for hiding the loot. The plucky girl dashes over to Jerry's office, revives the groggy sheriff and informs him of the bandit's intentions. After several dazzling stunts, Jerry captures the crooks and receives a $10,000 reward.
