Synopsis by Gönül Dönmez-Colin

Mike Hakata's first feature is a modern-day Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde that alternates between realism and surrealism, melodrama and comedy. The main character is Kay, a man with two sides, one black and one white. He tries to find a gun, to eliminate his enemies, to dispose of a corpse, to come to terms with himself, and to fall in love -- all in the space of a day! The film takes place in Southeast London in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural milieu where reality can take multiple forms. This is a character-driven film with a stylish and colorful approach.
