The weekly E! Entertainment cable TV series TV Tales offered behind-the-scenes glimpses of everyone's favorite TV shows, past and present. The two-hour opener was an in-depth study of Saturday Night Live, tied in with E!'s acquisition of the entire SNL rerun backlog. Later programs focused on such iconic series as M*A*S*H, Roseanne, and E.R. TV Tales first aired on March 31, 2002.
