Filmmaker John Avildsen made a less-than-auspicious debut with this purportedly scathing look at the secret lives of flower children. The story centers on a hip young woman who tires of her super square hubby and returns to the wild life of Greenwich Village to be with her hippie pals. She attends a drug-filled, orgiastic party one night and ends up having sex with an Italian director. More soft-core sex scenes follow before the errant wife realizes that she'd rather be at home with hubby, who upon reflection has decided to stop being so darned uptight.
