Synopsis by Phil Griffin
In 1970s Georgia, space-obsessed misfit girl Christmas Flint (Mckenna Grace) learns that the grand prize at the Birdie Scout talent show is getting your voice on NASA's Golden Record, a time capsule that will travel aboard the Voyager to represent earth to extraterrestrial life. To win, Christmas forms her own ragtag Birdie troop led by a tough troop leader Rayleen (Viola Davis) and her dad (Jim Gaffigan). The unconventional troop ruffles feathers, however, irking Christmas's strict school principal, Miss Massey (Allison Janney). Directed by female writing-directing duo Bert & Bertie.
