Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Director Jose Maria Zabalza helmed this Spanish-Italian-French co-production using the pseudonyms "Pino Mercanti" and "Joseph Trader" depending on the print. The story concerns a siege on the city of Dallas by the Mexican army. While the cavalry is delayed, Dallas' sheriff (Fred Bier) organizes the frightened locals into a capable militia to beat back the advancing troops. Olivier Mathot, Luis Induni, and Robert Messina also appear in this early spaghetti western.
