Synopsis by Clarke Fountain

The Bee Gees' music is all the rage among teens in 1970s France, and Saturday Night Fever has become a model many aspire to follow. In this film, a seventeen-year old, intellectual, handsome Nicolas (Julien Gerin), fancies himself the Don Juan of his social group. He has made a bet that he can woo any girl he wants. At random, he picks Christine (Leslie Azzoulai). She is overwhelmed to be invited to party with this handsome lad, and is filled with romantic feelings. She looks forward to dancing with him on the weekend, but her parents, bakers, have been called out of town, and she has her hands full taking care of their shop and waiting on customers. Every time it looks like the increasingly frantic girl might have a chance to call him, something comes up. She has an opportunity to encounter Nicolas again at the local skating rink, even though she is accompanied by a handsome professional skater (Igor Tchiniaev), and he is flirting with someone else. The outcome of their encounter is surprising. This short romantic drama is part of a ten-film series for French television which explores teens and their music.
