Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Jonathon Link's documentary Travis: A Soldier's Story tells the sobering tale of Travis Mills, who, while stationed in Afghanistan, triggered an improvised explosive device. The result of this tragic even is that he became only the fifth veteran of the Iran and Afghanistan war to become a quadruple amputee. The filmmakers revisit the events on the day of the explosion, and show how Mills fights on a daily basis to overcome the physical and psychological wounds inflicted by this experience.
