Rick Steves opens this 50th episode of his popular PBS travel series high atop the alpine mountain of Zugspitze, straddling Austria and Germany. Quickly heading down the Austrian side, Rick arrives in Fallershein, then journeys onward to Innsbruck in the Tyrol. Once through the Brenner Pass, the tour goes to the Italian Alps, home of stately Reifenstein Castle. Whisking past low meadows and high cliffs, Rick guides viewers from Bolzano to the fabulous Dolomites.
