Episode 17 of Travels in Europe With Rick Steves finds the globetrotting host in Edinburgh, Scotland, first leg in a 74-mile journey along Hadrian's Wall, once the northern edge of the Roman Empire. After revelling in the annual Edinburgh Festival (which, viewers are told, is actually four festivals in one), Rick Steves takes a tour along the Royal Mile, from Edinburgh's all-purpose Castle to Holyroodhouse Palace. The episode concludes with a traditional Scottish songfest at a colorful (and surprisingly inexpensive) pub.
