The Trains on Location series, narrated by TRAINS editor Kevin P. Keefe, takes the railroad enthusiast aboard freight and passenger trains bound for some of the most scenic areas in North America. The train lover gets a close-up look at the engines which power the trains as well as a tour of the cars and cargoes. Interviews with railroad workers and historians provide insights into the operations and history of each line. This program travels the Northeast Corridor aboard the Amtrak from New York to Philadelphia. The beautiful countryside is captured in full color, with accompanying stereo sound.
