Synopsis by Kaitlin Elise Miller
In 1928, successful Russian Jewish businessman Semyon (Mike Falkow) is traveling through Poland by train. He finds himself falling for a fellow passenger (Tanna Frederick), a female nurse in the Polish army, until he learns she’s staunchly anti-Semitic. Semyon is undeterred in his pursuit of her, though he struggles over when and how to confront her prejudice. Written and directed by Henry Jaglom, based on his play of the same name.
