Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Produced, written and directed by J.J. Fleming, this low-budget Northwest Mounted Police melodrama starred future B-Western villain Al Ferguson as a mountie tracking down the man who murdered his prospector pal (Frank Clark). Despite falling in love with the suspect's daughter (Pauline Curley), Ferguson's Sergeant Dick Stanton is about to make his arrest when new evidence leads to the capture of the real murderer, "Hootch" Marvin (Les Bates). Ferguson starred in four Fleming-produced outdoor-melodramas, all filmed on location in Oregon. The series was distributed by poverty row entrepreneur J. Charles David.
