Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
A rough-and-tumble town in Maine is the setting for this routine drama. Norma Shearer masquerades as a boy during the day after her mother is killed by an unknown assailant. Wilfred Lytell is the city slicker who saves her from the neighbor who turns out to be the killer. John Morse and George Stevens co-star in this tepid melodrama highlighted by the inspired direction of Oscar Apfel.
