An L.A. mechanic and a Vietnamese-American manicurist forge an unlikely friendship that begins to blossom into something much deeper in this intimate independent drama. Brendan is a mechanic whose marriage is on the rocks. Desperate to make his wife feel loved again, he confides his troubles in Tam during sessions to clean his oil-stained hands. With Tam's help, Brendan soon begins sweeping his wife off her feet again for the first time in years. Meanwhile, the growing attraction between Brendan and Tam threatens to destroy the marriage he's worked so hard to repair.
