Rhythm and blues diva Toni Braxton's tumultuous road to fame is dramatized in this Lifetime movie. Toni (Lex Scott Davis) was just another talented singer in the church choir until she came under the mentorship of producers L.A. Reid (Greg Davis Jr.) and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds (Gavin Houston). Her star ascended rapidly with hits like "Breathe Again", but her personal life was beset with challenges such as a painful divorce, a bout with lupus and her son's autism. This musical journey to a woman's self-empowerment also stars Debbi Morgan,Cortney Scott Wright, Skye P. Marshall, LaToya Franklyn and Tiffany Hines.
