Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This British sitcom starred the incomparable Lionel Jeffries as newly widowed pensioner Thomas Maddison. Leaving his Cornish home town, Thomas moved into the London home of his son Richard (Ian Ogilvey) and daughter-in-law Harriet (Brigit Forsyth). Having been browbeaten and henpecked all his life, Thomas now intended to kick over the traces and have as much fun as possible, much to his straitlaced son's consternation. The 12 half-hour episodes of Tom Dick and Harriet were broadcast by ITV from September 13, 1982 to February 17, 1983.
